Check out your local DoD library to see if they are participating in the kids' summer reading program "Voyage to Book Island". Military.com reported this program will run about 8 weeks of the summer with an open enrollment...start when you want and continue even if you move to a different base! Activities will vary by location, but incentives include bookmark, t-shirt, and more! Sounds like something to check in to at your local library! Have fun reading this summer :)
