Steps to Save - Step #9 - Shopping Rite Aid

Next up on Steps to Save is a store with many ways to save (so many sometimes, it's hard to keep them all straight and make sure you are finding all the savings) - Rite Aid!

Tonight I'll list some of the ways to save to kind of get the basics down:

1. Rite Aid does accept regular cut out manufacture coupons and printable coupons.

2. Rite Aid has their own coupons too. You can find Rite Aid coupons in a couple different places:

a. in ad coupons - be on the look out for manufacture coupons and Rite Aid coupons in their weekly ads.

b. Video Values - This is the best way to save money - watch a little video, essentially a commercial lasting anywhere from a couple seconds to a couple minutes and get a coupon! You can choose the videos you want to watch and they are saved online until you are ready to print.  Also, each video you watch gives you a point (or more) towards a $4 off $20 coupon! These make for GREAT savings!

c. If you sign up with their Wellness Rewards program, they will e-mail you Rite Aid coupons every so often.

3. Wellness Rewards Program - This is where even more savings can come in to play.  Their loyalty program "Wellness Rewards" program has a couple of ways to save.
You can save weekly by getting an even greater discount on items by using your Wellness Rewards Card.
You can gain +UP  rewards weekly by buying certain items - these are like Register Rewards- a certain dollar amount off your next purchase.
Each time you shop with your Wellness Card you gain points and these points accumulate to equal more coupons sent to you and more discounts (up to 20% off all purchases!).

4. Single Check Rebates - These are also very easy to do online and can save you lots.  Certain items in the store, when purchased, will give you a rebate. After you buy any of these items, you come home, log on the computer and register, enter your receipts, and get a check sent to you! It is so easy and takes only a couple minutes!

5. There is also as separate rebate offered on Allergy Medicines going on right now too.

6. Also, check your receipt. A lot of times I will get back coupons for $4 off $20 of hair care or $5 off $25 of oral care.  It is easy to rack up $20 in shampoo and conditioner and use this coupon along with manufacture coupons to bring your total down to almost nothing!

*Whew! Lots of Info! More to come tomorrow night!*
