Today is National Guacamole Day and Wholly Guacamole wants to celebrate in a very special way this year through their Wholly Heroes Promotion -  Every year 2 million military children say a tear-filled goodbye to dad or mom as they leave for a deployment.  My children, like most, have missed their dad on the first day of school, birthdays, Christmas, performances, sporting events, and numerous other important occasions.  Military children struggle with tough emotional issues that stem from missing the deployed parent and worrying about his or her safety.  They are a truly special group of kids and some amazing little American heroes.
